I’m Marco Klomp, a Eindhoven-area based UX Designer that is specialized in Usability Engineering and Interaction Design for web & mobile apps. My passion is to help people accomplish their every day tasks by developing innovative, easy-to-use interfaces and give them a great experience while interacting with the product or service.

WHAT I DO

I develop engaging interfaces that people love and helps them achieve their goals. I explore how they interact with the product and how it integrates into the context of their lives. As a UX design professional, my primary focus throughout the process is the architecture & science behind the visuals; the base for generating business value, a powerful online presence, optimizing workflows, and improving the overal User Experience (UX).

The best vision is insight

To improve the user experience throughout the agile development process, you can use various research methods to collect both qualitative and quantitative data in order to validate design hypotheses, increase the Return on Investment (ROI), and ‘hit the sweet spot’. The first step is to learn about business objectives & user needs so that this knowledge can be used to determine what the real problem is.

Business needs
The organization wants to create optimal value from information and technology by maintaining balance amongst realising benefits, optimizing risk levels and resource use. I try to understand their business model and discover what the product or service goals are.

User needs
How the users interact with the product? To be able to understand that, I dig deeper and learn about Mental Models and by asking the right questions: Who are they? How do they think & feel? Which tasks do they need to perform? What questions do they need answered? What are their goals? What are the pains & gains?
